New scouts : Welcome! To join our pack, parents of new cub scouts must complete the Boy Scouts of America application form, either online or using the paper form. Here's how:

To apply online:

• Apply from the BSA BeAScout portal: https://beascout.scouting.org

• Click the 'apply now' button for Pack 3011 Covenant Presbyterian Church

• Login or 'Create Account' if you (as the parent) don't already have an account with my.scouting.org

• Select 'Youth' to register the scout

• If the scout had been a member previously, then entering their member id will keep all their scouting records together in the system

• then, follow the steps to enter the scout info and pay the BSA membership fees.

 

To apply using the paper form:

• Please complete and sign the BSA Youth Member Application Form 

• Take the completed form to the Boy Scouts of America, Simon Kenton Council Office at 807 Kinnear Rd to pay the BSA membership fees.

Returning scouts : You do not need apply again!

Our pack dues are dependent on the success of our Popcorn Fundraiser. The more the pack sells, the lower the dues.  Popcorn sale concludes at the end of November, and our target this year is to cover all our Pack activity expenses with the fundraiser. Click here for more details.

It’s important to us that no scout ever be denied participation in the Scouting program due to his/her family’s financial situation. If the fees are a barrier to joining, scholarships are available. If you have questions, please contact cubmasterpack11@gmail.com

Uniforms can be purchased from the Scout Store on Kinnear Road.

• Lions (kindergarteners) will need a Lion t-shirt and scouting belt.

• Tigers (1st grade) and new scouts in older ranks will need the Cub Scout shirt with patches and scouting belt.

We suggest buying the shirt on the larger side, so that it will fit your scout through 4th grade.

Optional but recommended, is the rank neckerchief and slide, and rank hat.

There are official Cub Scout pants, these are not necessary if your child has shorts or pants with a belt loop.

• Webelos and Arrow of Light (4th and 5th grade) can wear the tan shirt, which they continue to use when they cross over to a Boy Scout Troop.

Handbooks are provided by the pack - you will receive yours from your den leader.

Uniform assistance is available on request.

When your child joins scouting, they will belong to a den of scouts in their own grade. Dens meet together about once a month, to work on activities and achievements, in addition to attending Pack wide events. Your den leader will tell you more!
